Recent Purchases

As the month comes to an end today I thought I would share with you the items I purchased over the past month or so! Similar to a haul type video but these items are from all over the place. For this post I just filmed a video so be sure to head over to the video to get the details on all the different items I punched. I am going to keep this post short and sweet because the video has plenty of talking and I am off to bed :) Enjoy

Vineyard Vines USA Relaxed Shep Shirt

Hi, Y'all! I am so excited to share this patriotic outfit with you from Vineyard Vines. I wish I had gotten around to posting this outfit earlier because this Shep Shirt is pretty much out of stock now but maybe Vineyard Vines stores still have some or maybe they will restock it?! Let's hope because it is literally SO cute.

I wore this outfit last Friday when we went to the Baseball game downtown and it was the perfect weight for a cooler summer night. It wasn't too hot yet I was still warm enough. This Shep Shirt is like none of the other ones I own. It is a more relaxed fix with thumb holes on the sleeves. The cut of it is longer in the back and shorter in the front so it is also great to wear with leggings! For size reference, I am wearing a small and it is definitely not any to snug. I don't know if it is just me but I feel like Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt sizing has changed. When I bought my first one I bought a medium and probably could have gotten away with a large after I ended up washing it. Then this past spring I bought my first Shep Shirt in quite some time and to my surprise, the medium was huge on me and so I ended up with a small which is also what this is. So I am not 100% sure what this is all about but the sizing seems to be running larger now. Have you had the same experience?

Torrie Tuesday: Graduation Outfits

As I mentioned in yesterday's Weekend Whereabouts posts this past weekend was my sister graduation. So I thought it was would be the perfect time time share the outfits Torrie wore for both Saturday when we went out to dinner and for actually gradation. Both outfits are from Lilly Pulitzer and I don't think she could have picked two more perfect items to wear!

Weekend Whereabouts #2

Wow! I had one busy week and weekend so I ended up not being able to blog this past week as much as I had hoped to. Once Thursday hit I seemed to be busy all day with work and other commitments. Last week I shared a weekend recap in my first Weekend Whereabouts post and I really enjoyed doing it so I thought I would share my weekend again with you!
On Friday I worked until 5pm and then I went out to dinner downtown on the waterfront with the fam. I order a lobster roll with fries and it was so good. I hadn't had a lobster roll since I was in Boston for Thanksgiving. After that we went to a Bison's Baseball game downtown which had fireworks after the game. It rained most of the game but we moved up to the overhang area so we petty much stayed dry.

4th Of July Outfit Inspiration

I don't think there is any color combo I love more than red, white, and blue. I just love the three colors together especially since it normally includes a ton of stripes and gingham to make it even better! I can't wait for 4th of July so I can put on my best patriotic outfit. Aside from your "typical" holidays 4th of July is definitely my favorite. Between the outfits, fireworks, BBQ and time spent outside it can't get any better. This year me and my sister booked a quick two night trip to D.C. I mean you can't get much more patriotic than that! We went to D.C. for Easter this year and we both had so much fun we wanted to go back. I can't wait for the trip. If you live in the area I would love any suggestions you may have.

I am still figuring out what I want to wear for the 4th of July myself so I put together some outfit inspiration below in case you are in need of some options. I have to say Vineyard Vines is on point right now. Their "Red, Whale, & Blue" section on their website right now is seriously perfect. My mom and I already purchased this because we couldn't resist.

I would love to know what your plans are for the 4th and what you plan on wearing!

Weekend Whereabouts #1

I feel like it has been a little while since I updated you with what I have been up to so I thought I would share with you what I have been doing the last two weekends! I didn't really plan on posting this so I don't have a ton of pictures but if you like this little series I can do this more often!
Last Weekend

Last Friday I went to a country concert downtown to see Thomas Rhett, Chris Janson, and Scotty McCreery. I went with one of my best friends from high school and my parents. My sister was originally going to go but it was the night of her prom. I had such a fun time at the concert and everyone put on a great performance.

Southern Tide Contest (#castingforskipjack)

On Tuesday I took a trip to the water front with my sister for a mini photoshoot for the Southern Tide contest that is going on until June 17th. Thanks to the help of Torrie we got some great shots and I thought I would share them with y'all.

If you are interested in entering the contest you still have a few days to do so. All you have to do is post a photo/selfie of yourself using the hashtag #castingforskipjack and #contest on Feacebook, Twitter, or Instagram and explain why you should be choosen. You can enter as many times as you would like and the grand prize winner gets a trip to Southern Tide headquarters and a chance to be featured in an upcoming photoshoot! For all the details check out this link.

Summer Bucket List 2018

I only work about four days a week at my internship so I do get a good amount of time off however I find myself sitting around on my days off not doing a whole lot. While some times I need a chill day I also want to be doing things other days but I am more likely to do something if I kind of have it pre-planned out. So I thought I would share my summer bucket list with y'all in case you are looking for some fun things to do this summer! I do have a very busy summer so I may not get to all this stuff on the list but at least I have a place to refer to when looking for something to do! I can wait to check this stuff off my bucket list as the summer goes on. I would love to know what is on your bucket list this summer.

Fathers Day Gift Ideas

Today I am sharing some gift ideas for Fathers Day as it's already next Sunday! I'm not going to lie I racked my brain to come up with ideas and I think I came up with some solid ideas but it's just so hard. I am not going to speak for all guys but generally speaking guys hate shopping for clothes so the only time they get clothes is for holidays (aka: things like Fathers Day). With that being said it's not like most guys love getting clothes for a gift. So I tried to add a few more "unique" items in case you want to be risky and not buy clothes this year. I also think though activity type items for guys make a great gift. This includes things like tickets to a baseball game, a gift card to the movie theater, or a restaurant gift card.

I would love to know what you end up buying for your dad!

Six Instagram Accounts I Have Been Loving

I am going to be 100% honest with you and tell you I have to get up pretty early for work tomorrow and so I don't have the time to write a super lengthy in depth blog post. So I am going to keep it super quick and share with you a couple Instagram accounts I have been loving. I have been trying to follow more positive "real" accounts that I can relate to. Some of these accounts have blogs and some don't! I hope you maybe discover someone new. I would also love to hear what Instagram accounts you are always keeping up to date with.
