NYE Trip: Massachusetts & Vermont Travel Log

I am finally posting my travel log from my families last trip over the New Year! We traveled to Massachusetts and Vermont for the trip. The trip was the perfect quite get away after a crazy holiday season. I really would recommend this trip for anyone looking to get away to a nice quite location away form all the craziness of life! For today's blog post I am going to share with you what each day looked like in a travel log form. I have also created a video of different memories from the trip so be sure to check that out as well! Let me know if you have any questions regarding travel or this trip.

-Left the house around 10am and traveled to Massachusetts
-We checked into the Porches Inn which is where we stayed for the trip. The room was really nice, the breakfast was amazing & the staff was super accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. They also have a pool and hot tub that is open year around.
-Got ready and had a New Years Eve dinner at Mezze. I order the salmon which was amazing and I also had a scoop of sorbet which was just as good.
-Came back to the hotel and took a night dip in the hot tub
-Celebrated the New Year with bubbly & watched the ball drop

-We traveled to Manchester Vermont for the day which is about an hour away from the hotel. We shopped at the Manchester Designer Outlets which was SO cool. They had a Vineyard Vines outlet which I had never been into before. The outlet was spread out throughout the town which was very unique for an outlet.
-After shopping we headed over to The Perfect Wife Tavern for some amazing good!

-My mom, sister & I got manicures and pedicures at the In Touch Day Spa. I got a french manicure and it turned out great. The spa was super relaxing as it look out onto the water.
-We headed into town to get some baked goods & pick up a cake from Tunnel City Coffee to celebrate my sisters birthday early (Happy birthday sis as today is the real day)!
- We then went on a short hike near our hotel. Though we kept the hike pretty short because it was cold and icy.
- We finished the day by eating dinner at The Public. This restaurant was right down the road from where we stayed and the whole place was so cool & and the good was great.
-We took our last dip in the hot tub!

-We checked out of our room and traveled home ;(
