Sunday Funday

Growing up Sunday's for me were anything but fun. This is because Sunday's for me meant doing hours and hours of homework that was due because I procrastinated it until the weekend. While I still do lots of homework in college on Sunday's I have tried to make the day more fun and not only focus on work. So today I am sharing with you what a perfect Sunday Funday would look like for me with tips to help make your Sunday's better. I don't do these things every week however this is what the perfect day would look like for me ;)

Sleep In: I think the weekends are the perfect time to sleep in and get caught up on sleep. I love sleeping in until about 10am. I have never been one to sleep in super late because then I just feel like you are wasting the day away! Speaking of sleeping in Casper the online mattress brand, are huge fans of sleeping in on a Sunday Funday! They recently asked me how my Sunday routine goes and of course sleep had to be number one on my list! I think getting a good rest in a comfy bed sets the week up for success.

Hit The Gym: I think the best way to kick start the day is by getting in a quick morning workout. My favorite thing to do to get some cardio in is to use the elliptical for about 40-60 minutes! Another thing I love is Barre classes to help tone up the muscles.

Brunch: After a good workout brunch is much needed. My favorite place to go would be Starbucks where I would get a green tea latte. I also enjoy making a smoothie or eggs at home!

Work & Blog: After a productive morning I would then take the time to catch up on any work that I need to get done. The key is try to take small breaks every hour or so to help stay focused. I usually go to the Library to get work done for a couple of hours.

Do Something Fun: I think the best way to reward yourself after getting lots of work done is to do something fun. While this looks different for everyone one of my favorite things to do to treat myself would be to get a manicure. I love treating myself everyone once in a while to a manicure. Some other ideas could be going shopping, going to the beach, getting together with friends, or trying out a new recipe!

Plan Out The Week: One of my most helpful things I do on Sundays is plan out my week. I put all my important dates, actives, blog posts, and to do lists in my planner for the upcoming week. I also enjoy decorating my Lilly planner with a couple of stickers. I might be weird but I love spending the time to plan out my week. I think it's the best way to get yourself ready for the week ahead.

Unwind: My final thing I love doing on Sunday's is have a mini spa night. This includes taking a bath and putting on a face mask while catching up on a TV show or reading blogs!
