Where Have I Been / Life Update / Current Favorites

Hey y'all I don't really know where to even begin or how to start this post but I just wanted to sit down and have a heart to heart! If you don't care to read about my life then you can skip ahead to the part of the post where I am sharing with you some of my current favorites. For all of you who do want an update then keep reading!

As you can probably tell my posts have been lacking and the amount of times I post has decreased dramatically! I want you to know that you are not the only one that notices it and I am well aware of this fact. Though this is not something that is going to change tomorrow or even next week. To be honest I think it has taken me almost six months since I stated college to come to terms with the fact that I just don't have the time to devote hours each night to blog posts! When I say hours I truly mean hours it might take longer then you think to publish one simple post. I am in college now and so my schedule is much different then it was when I started Melchicmay in my junior year of high school. Now you might be thinking what is the big deal if you only post once a week? It is no big deal it just has taken me forever to be ok with this fact. I compare myself to other bloggers (i.e.: Kelly In The City & The College Prepster) and I notice that they post a blog post EVERY SINGLE DAY. Though the main difference between them and me is that I am going to school. You might not know this but a lot of people blog full time as their job (yes you read that right)! If you grow your website large enough you can make it a full time job. While that is not my intention I say this because the blogging "standard" of posting content everyday is just not realistic.

So the questions is where do we go from here? I can't promise an exact schedule, I don't spend a ton of time creating new outfits as much anymore & I sometimes just don't feel inspired to post. While I can't give you can exact answer to this question I do have one simple answer I still love blogging. I love being able to share with you guys what ever I want. It's like a person diary for me to look back on. So while I might not be posting everyday anymore not a single day goes by that I don't think about Melchicmay!

I am off for Easter break until Monday and I am going to really spend a lot of time thinking about where I want to take this blog in the future, blog post ideas, future projects, my goals & mission! So you can expect a follow up post in the next few days where I will be laying out a plan for what's to come! As for now make sure you follow along with me on Instagram (@melchicmay) as I have been trying to post more frequently. Before this post gets ANY long lets get into some of my current favorites.

I Said Yes By Emily Maynard: I really want to read this book by Emily as I have read lots of great reviews about it. I have been a fan of her ever since she was on the Bachelor years ago and I have been following her life every since. I really think that this would be a fun read!

Congrats Kelly: I have to give a hug congrats to a fellow blogger Kelly who I have been a fan of since she started blogging! On Monday she posted a precious blog post & video with an announcement that she is having a baby! I am so happy for you. PS: How cute are these photos?!

Kelly Wynne: I have posted about this handbag brand before but I had to share this video with you that features the designers Kelly. She shares her story & inspiration for starting her handbag brand and it's SO inspiring.

Piko Dress: I have been loving these t-shirt dresses that have been in style this season and I recently came across the brand Piko. They have some amazing t-shirts and t-shirt dresses at a really great price! Definitely check them out if you have not heard of the brand.

Burt's Bees Sensitive Face Wash: I recently featured their line of face wipes in a current favorites post and I have been loving them. So when I ran out of face wash I decided to try this out and I LOVE IT. I think it's the best face wash I have ever tried. It leaves your face so soft and clean.
