Book Review: I Never Promised You A Goodie Bag

Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts about a book I finished about a month ago. This book I Never Promised You A Goodie Bag has been out for a few years but I thought I would share my opinion with you.

Review:

This book is a memoir about a event planner who went through some hard times in life and how she came to terms with things. When I got this book I was not sure if I was going to like it enough to finish it. Though I must say it was a great book that was not to long. Often times memoirs can have to much detail and get boring, however Jennifer did a good job just writing about what was important to the book. I found this book really relatable for me because A. I want to be an event planner and
B. Her outlook on life and her views are very similar to mine. I don't know if this book is for everyone as some might find it boring, however if you have ever been through a difficult time in life this will give you inspiration and insight. Some reviews complained she bragged to much about her business though she is proud of it. She built her company from nothing and it became her inspiration.  Heck if I had a business like that I would write about it to. This book is written in away people can relate to it and for that it's a great memoir! I give it 4.5 stars.
