Weekend Whereabouts #3

I started posting a few of these weekend whereabouts posts at the beginning of the summer but to be honest in the summer on the weekends I was mostly working, on vacation which I then shared in a travel recap posts, or I literally didn't do anything to share. However with the school year starting up I think it would be fun to get back into these posts to share what I am up to with you! Especially since I feel like during the school year the weekends are when I tend to do a majority of activities. Now I probably will not have something to share ever week but we will see.

This weekend I was pretty busy trying to get in the last bit of summer with it being Labor Day weekend. On Friday I went to see Crazy Rich Asians at the AMC. I feel like everyone has been talking about this movie so I thought I had to go see it. It was really cute with some funny parts as well. The movie originated from a book and now I kind of want to read the book. It was definitely a perfect Friday night.

Saturday I had to work in the morning but not super early so I did sleep in a bit. After work I went to one of my friends from school who was having an end of summer party. It was a luwow themed party with tons of food and they even had a pig roast. I had never had fresh pulled pork from a pig roast but  it had so much flavor. We all hung out and went for a swim before dinner. It was such a fun way to end the summer.

Sunday I had a pretty boring day meal prepping, getting homework done, going to a sorority meeting and, cleaning up. You know the usual boring Sunday crap. Though with Labor Day it was nice to have an extra day off. I did have to work in the morning but then I went home for the night and got to see some family friends for dinner. I really don't like when Labor Day comes around because it means it's the end of the summer but it was a nice weekend.

I guess I need to remember to take more pictures for these posts and let me know if you have anything you would like me to include in these weekend whereabouts type posts!
